Cathy Norwood, P.E. has over 40 years of oil and gas property evaluation and reservoir engineering experience throughout the U.S. She has a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University and is a licensed professional engineer in multiple states. Ms. Norwood has extensive knowledge in economic evaluations, reserve certifications, acquisition and divestiture work, reservoir simulation, and well test analyses. She is active in SPEE and has served as chairman of the Midland Chapter. She is also a member of SPE. Texas Tech Petroleum Engineering Department inducted her into their Academy of Petroleum Engineers in 2012. Ms. Norwood was appointed to the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors by Gov. Greg Abbott in 2016. Currently, she is serving her second six-year term as a board member and is chairman of the Licensing and Registration Committee.
T. Scott Hickman, P.E. is a renown reservoir engineer. A graduate of Texas Tech University with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering he also earned a M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana Tech University. He began his engineering career with Texaco in 1957. He moved into the consulting arena in 1969 with LLC&C Consulting Co. and in 1973 formed T. Scott Hickman & Associates, Inc. He has authored numerous papers on property evaluation, reservoir engineering, engineering ethics and secondary and tertiary recovery. He was elected to the office of President of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and traveled the world speaking to various chapters. He has also served as a SPE Distinguished Lecturer. To honor his service to SPE the Permian Basin Section of SPE established a scholarship in his name. Texas Tech University named Mr. Hickman a Distinguished Alumni as did the Texas Tech College of Engineering. The Texas Tech Petroleum Engineering Department elected him to their Academy of Petroleum Engineers. Mr. Hickman is also an active member of SPEE and served as the society’s president in 1987. He is a licensed professional engineer in multiple states.
J. Louis Moseley, P.E. has over 60 years of property evaluation experience in the Permian Basin and throughout the U.S. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1960 with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering. Mr. Moseley has maintained his professional engineering licensure in multiple states. He is involved in several industry groups such as SPE and SPEE.
Kyle Koerner, P.E. has over 30 years of engineering experience, including conventional and unconventional field development and improved recovery. He started his career in 1989 as a reservoir engineer with Bechtel, operator of the giant Elk Hills oil field in California. Throughout his career, he has held a variety of roles of increasing responsibility with small to Fortune 100 E&P companies in engineering, strategic planning, SEC reserves, and leadership of multi-disciplined subsurface, acquisition & divestiture and project teams in California, Texas, West Africa and Brazil. He holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas, an M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states.
Monica Parksion, P.E., has over 35 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. She began her career with Exxon Oil Corporation as a reservoir engineer with experience in acquisitions and field studies. Monica has worked as a consulting reservoir engineer for various E&P companies and reserve evaluation firms. She holds a BSME from the University of Oklahoma. She served as Secretary and Treasurer of the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers. Monica is a licensed professional engineer.
Betsy Dufford Wells earned a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M. She began her career with EOG Resources in Midland, Texas as a reservoir engineer. At EOG she was involved in the early development of the unconventional Wolfcamp plays. She began her consulting career in 2014 and has worked on a wide variety of projects. Ms. Wells is experienced in all aspects of property evaluation and reservoir analysis.
Shelly Worrell has nearly 40 years oil and gas engineering experience including production, operations and reservoir evaluations in the Permian Basin. After graduation from the Colorado School of Mines, Shelly started her career in 1983 with ARCO Oil and Gas as a Facilities Engineer, progressing to various positions with Chevron Corporation, and then later at Occidental Petroleum. As Business Development Director at Oxy, Shelly gained extensive experience evaluating multiple oil and gas acquisitions and divestments totaling over $5 billion.
